Frame help please

Hi,
I have 2 questions

I have frames set up and I have a left frame which I would like to use for links but

Question 1
I was wondering if I can change the color of links so its not the purple or blue coloring.

Question 2
Is there away to instead of having text as the link to have an image?

PLEASE help and I hope you can understand what I am asking!
